Feature 1
My work with this project was as a Quality Assurance and Quality Control person with responsibilities as oversight of the construction, compliance with building code, ensuring the project was delivered following drawings and specifications, making sure the correct materials were being used and installed in accordance with manufacture standards.
The design of the supermarket incorporates natural light through a special rooftop design that is expected to provide cost-saving benefits in terms of electricity usage and at the same time will make people feel connected to the outdoor environment.
Feature 2
Motorists and pedestrians will not see the supermarket’s busy back-of-house services as a result of an architectural design that incorporates elevated landscaping and a screening wall.
Feature 3
The project will be built with features that promote environmental sustainability, including an array of solar panels on the roof that can generate 250 kW of electricity.
